About Chris
As a licensed, insured and permitted tenkara guide in the picturesque Nantahala National Forest, Chris brings a wealth of expertise and passion to every angling excursion. With a lifetime of fishing experience and a deep connection to the great outdoors, Chris offers an unparalleled journey into the world of fly fishing/tenkara.
Growing up fishing the serene landscapes of the Pocono mountains in Pennsylvania, Chris developed a love for fishing at an early age.
Those formative years spent casting lines in the tranquil waters of the Lehigh River instilled a profound respect for nature and understanding of the art of fishing. It led Chris to obtain a Biology degree from the University of Georgia. During that time, Chris fell in love with the mountains of southern Appalachia. He spent years learning how to chase wild and native trout all over Nantahala National Forest.
